Attlee (A.D) Johnson from Somerville passed away surrounded by family in his home on Friday May 16, 2025. A.D. was 87 years old. A.D. served with the US Army National Guard in his 20s. He worked for several companies as a software engineer and developed one of the first prepaid cards. He is a beloved husband, father and friend to all and loved to make people laugh. He attended Antioch Methodist Church his entire life. He enjoyed church, woodworking, spending time with his family, and Alabama football.

He is preceded in death by his parents: William and Maude Johnson, his sisters: Molly Jo Bowling, Frankie Grantland, Leah Sanders; his brothers: John Johnson, Moton Johnson and William Neil Johnson and his first wife Fran Turney.

He is survived by his wife of 56 years Jessica Johnson. His daughter, Monesa (Missy) and her husband Darron. His granddaughter Caitlin and her husband Kendall. His sister Anna Mary Williamson.

Visitation will be at Peck Funeral Home on Monday May 19th from 1 pm to 2:30 pm. The funeral will be at Antioch Methodist Church on Monday May 19th at 3 pm with burial to follow in Antioch Cemetery..
