A Graveside Funeral service and Interment for Alma Lee Thrasher Rotton, 96, will be Sunday, October 12, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Forrest Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Gary Phillips  officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. No visitation is scheduled.

Mrs. Rotton passed away on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 at UAB's Palliative Care Unit.  She was born January 25, 1929, in Morgan  County,  to William Merty Thrasher and Hettie Lee Norwood Thrasher .

Mrs. Rotton was a Christian lady, a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother. She attended the Pattillo Street Church of God since 1952, where she cleaned the church and was active until around April of this year.  She enjoyed gardening and made the best canned green beans. She was employed by Elmore's Department Store, in Retail Sales, prior to her retirement.

Preceding her in death were her husband- Joseph Rotton, her parents, four sisters and two brothers.

Survivors include

Daughter - Brenda Hilton,

Grandchildren - Phillip Hilton (Connie), and Misti Hilyer (Todd),

Great Grandchildren -  Dalton Bradford (Courtney), Shelbi Hilyer, Jayden Hilton, and Vaelyn Hilton,

Great Great Grandchildren - Corbin Bradford and Camden Bradford.

Pallbearers will be Family and Friends.
