Greg was a big fan of Alabama Football and Braves Baseball.  His knowledge of the players and the games themselves was amazing. He even would try to predict the score of the Alabama Games and write it in his notebook. He loved to "Eat Out" and would encourage people to schedule date to do that, and enter it into his pocket calender. He loved his home church, Hamby's Chapel UMC, where he was a member. He was a resident at Summerford Nursing Home for the last  2 1/2 years, where he made many friends and received loving care. He thoroughly enjoyed the activities, especially bingo, where he received many stuffed animals as prizes.

Greg was a happy and very loving person despite the many challenges life threw at him. He had heart surgery at the age of five, cerebral palsey, but the most difficult was Parkinson's Disease developed five years ago that disabled him the most - His strength and difficulty swallowing. Difficulty swallowing lead to frequent aspiration and pneumonia that resulted in his death.

Pallbearers will be Cousins.
