Funeral service for Clarence "Snuffy" Lewis, 79, will be Friday, November 8, 2019 at 1:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Jeff White officiating and Peck Funeral Home directing. Burial will be in Mt Tabor Cemetery.  Visitation will be Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Peck Funeral Home. 

Mr. Lewis died on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at  his residence.  He was born December 7, 1939, in West Virginia to James Porter Lewis and Georgia Lucille Piper Lewis.  Mr. Lewis, known to his family and friends as "Snuffy", worked as a Supervisor for Valley Rubber prior to his retirement and he was a Veteran of the United States Army.  Preceding him in death were his parents: James and Georgie Lewis, a daughter: Denise Posey, a great grandson: Michael McClendon, Jr., his brother: James Jr. Lewis, and three sisters: Connie Wilson, Georgie Wolfe, and Shelbadean Bolyard. 

Survivors include:
Hazel Smith Lewis, Decatur, AL

Two Daughters:
Rhonda Livingston (Rickey), Priceville, AL
Shelly Martin (Steven), Somerville, AL

Two Sons:
Charles "Buck" Lewis (Kelly), Tera Alta, WV
Ernie Lewis, Tera Alta, WV

Son-in-law :
Scott Posey, Somerville, AL

Twelve Grandchildren
Twenty Great Grandchildren 
Two Great Great Grandchildren

Pallbearers will be Russell Brown, Phillip Gurley, Patrick Dotson, Bobby Boyd, Patrick Livingston, Larry Martin and  Cronan Connell
